Ophelia s Fox is the first design in a set, created using a classic Arts & Crafts colour pallet of autumnal shades of sage greens, soft ochre yellows, fawns and browns, complemented by added silk highlights in a slightly brighter hue.
The stitches are designed for pleasure, as designs such as this were usually created for the amateur embroiderer who enjoyed her craft, rather than a speedy professional stitcher.
